About Silent Call Transmitters and Receivers: The Silent Call wireless alerting system allows a deaf, hearing impaired, or any user to be discreetly alerted to the activation of any one of a number of common household devices such as a doorbell, telephone ringer, smoke detector, sound monitor, door or window activity, etc.

A typical system consists of one or more transmitters and one or more receivers. There is no limit to the number of receivers and/or transmitters in a system.

When a transmitter activates, it sends a digitally coded signal to any receivers within range. This signal contains a user selected unique address and a function code such as Fire, Sound, Door, Telephone, etc. Any receiver within range that is set to the same address as the transmitter will activate when it receives the signal. Most Silent Call receivers will activate and indicate which function activated them.  

These deaf assistive devices offer convenience. They allow you to roam throughout the house and yard. The maximum distance between the transmitter and Sidekick receiver for the new 418 MHz Signature Series is 2000 feet!

The Signature Series Sidekick II Strobe Receiver detects an incoming signal from any of the Signature Series transmitters, it alerts you by flashing the strobe light and activating the bed vibrator (if used), the colored indicator light for that signal will illuminate and a symbol for that specific transmitter will display on the screen!
